ACCOMMODATION
Do you offer accommodation?
We do not offer accommodation, however, we have listed the available accommodation options in both Winton and Longreach which can be viewed under the ‘Stay & Explore’ menu option.
GETTING THERE & PARKING
Do you offer bus transfers?
Yes, bus transfers for specific events will be available to purchase as an add-on. However, bus transfers have now sold out for the 2024 Festival of Outback Opera.
Please note, transfers are NOT included in your ticket price and must be purchased separately.

Dark Sky Serenade Buses

Singing in the Night Buses

Please be at the bus stop with your pre-purchased ticket at least 10 minutes prior to your departure. Buses will leave on a strict schedule.
Self Drive: Available with ample carparking onsite. Once cars have been parked there is a shuttle from carpark to gala venue.
Parking at Australian Age of Dinosaurs
The Museum is located 11km from the Landsborough Highway turnoff. The road to the Museum is sealed and caravans can be towed up The Jump-Up. There is a caravan unhitching area at the foot of The Jump-Up if you are towing with a small 4WD car or do not want to take your caravan up the steep ascent. To take your caravan up The Jump-Up, drive to the conditions in low gear and park in the designated area in the Reception Centre car park.
Parking at Camden Park Station
Signage will be displayed from the main entrance to the designated parking area at Camden Park Station. The carpark is approximately a 10 metre walk to the main seating area. Please exercise caution when driving, as the terrain in this area can be uneven.
TICKETING
All tickets will be issued via email. Please email tickets@oq.com.au if you have not yet received your tickets.
Why do I need to register on the ticketing site before making a purchase?
You’ll need to register to ensure a secure and personalised experience. It allows you to track your orders, receive updates, and access customer support more efficiently.
How do I register on the ticketing site?
To register, click on the ‘Login’ link in the menu on the website, then provide your personal details, such as name and email address, and create a password.
Can I buy tickets without registering?
No. Registration is required to purchase tickets. This policy helps us maintain high security and service standards.
What if I forget my login details?
If you forget your password, use the ‘I forgot my password‘ link to reset it.
Group bookings
If you are planning on attending multiple events with a booking of 8+ people, please contact us at tickets@oq.com.au.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Tickets can be purchased at the door; however, we strongly recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment.
Booking fees
There is a booking fee of $7.20 per transaction for orders of $100 or more. There are no booking fees for free events.
Festival Hub
The Festival Hub will be located in Winton, on Cobb Lane, next door to the Royal Theatre. Our team will be there from Tuesday 14 May – Friday 17 May.
DRESSCODE
Smart-casual and warm. All evening events are held in outdoor venues where temperatures can drop as low as 16 degrees.
MOBILE AND WIFI
Winton
Mobile reception is limited to Telstra only, with some areas of Winton having no reception at all.
Free Wifi is available in the main town centre.
Longreach
Longreach is has limited reception availability outside of the main town centre, e.g., Camden Park Station.
There is free WIFI available in the main town centre.
